"Uses of a security mirror"

First of all there are two different uses for a security mirror. The first one is for safety - placed in the right place, it can prevent accidents. For example, a dome mirror installed on the ceiling at a busy intersection of a factory or stockroom floor will help tow motor operators and people on foot "see each other". The use for safety reasons is pretty obvious. Now let's talk about the second use - theft prevention. You need a least one mirror to cover the "blind" spots in your retail store. Depending on what kind of and how many of the other tools you utilize in your store, you probably will need several of them. If you have ever had the pleasure of watching a shoplifter through the eyes of a security camera, then you know that most of them "give themselves away". Before they start concealing merchandise on themselves - they usually look up and around (looking for cameras & mirrors) and they look side to side (looking to see if anyone is watching on the sales floor). For prevention sake alone, you need to cover the "blind" areas in your store to reduce that area's theft "attractiveness" to the shoplifter. If a shoplifter walks into your store and feels uncomfortable in every isle (because of your prevention tools - cameras, dummy cameras, mirrors...etc.), chances are that they are going to go to another store where they feel more comfortable in committing their crime. The lesson here is - make them feel uncomfortable. Like I've said before, criminals do not like to draw attention to themselves. If they think that there is too much of a risk of being spotted "in the act", then they probably won't do it and your main goal of protecting your assets (by preventing the crime) is a success! Review the following security mirrors available and decide what kind and how many you need for your situation:
Office Max
As far as retail stores go, Office Max is one of the retailers that carry them (if they have them in stock at your location), or you can get them online HERE.
